Kettering Town Football Club and the Trust are pleased to introduce
'Poppies in the Community", a not for profit activity that will aim to promote social cohesion through working with children, families, schools, local agencies, sports partnerships and businesses using football as the catalyst to support learning, health and well being.
We are seeking volunteers from all ages to contribute, provide ideas and assist in a growing number of exciting projects active in schools and the community, including the introduction of a new "Poppies in the Community newsletter". The aim is to position and raise the profile of the Club through partnerships at the centre of the community.
Can you help? Please call Mike Cobb-Pernak on 07804 893 011
Poppies in the Community is also seeking young people from 16-19 to act as volunteer mentors/ambassadors in a scheme which we hope will be accredited by the Childrens University.
his is an exciting way to become empowered in your own actions and other peoples learning and add to your own personal professional development.
